BEST TIME TO VISIT

However, April through June are ideal for individuals who just want to take in the fresh air and feel like they’re at a hill station.

HOW TO REACH

Both an airport and a train station are absent from Kufri. Taking a taxi to Kufri after arriving in Shimla is the most practical route.

By Flight

Cabs to Kufri are readily available, and the closest airport is the Jabbar Bhatti airport, which is close to Shimla. Delhi is the airport that connects. But the closest large airport is in Chandigarh, which is about three to four hours away from Kufri.

By Train

Kufri and the Shimla railway station are roughly 13 miles apart. Buses and taxis are easily rented out. The railway station in Shimla is narrow gauge and has no direct connections to other parts of the nation. It is best to take a train to the Ambala or Chandigarh stations. From there, one can get to Shimla or Kufri via toy train, taxi, or bus.

By Road

By road, Kufri is incredibly accessible. There are plenty of buses that connect Shimla, Narkanda, and Rampur with Kufri. Buses and taxis can be rented privately as well.
