KTM CUP SEASON 2

Season 2 of the KTM Cup, one of India’s premier motorcycle racing competitions, has officially begun. The first round of selections for Season 2 will be on March 22 in Coimbatore. The selection round in Coimbatore will mark the start of the racing action, with successive rounds to be held in important cities like as Delhi (13 and 14 April), Mumbai (26 and 28 April), and Kolkata (11 and 12 May). The competition’s conclusion, which will include the grand finale and qualifying, is slated for May 24–26 at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore. Having said that, the organization claimed that more than 1,000 people nationwide participated in Season 1.

Three new categories—Pros, Women, and Amateurs—are added to the KTM Cup for Season 2. The Pros division consists of the competitors from Season 1 (not including the top three winners), FMSCI License Holders/INMRC Racers from the previous three years, and competitors from single-make championships. Furthermore, qualifying and final participation in the Women category require KTM ownership, although city-round entrance is available to non-owners for all female motorcycle enthusiasts and KTM owners. Riders of all ability levels are catered to in the Amateurs category. Remarkably, at the famed Red Bull Ring in Salzburg, Austria, the top three finishers in KTM Cup Season 2 will have the chance to train among MotoGP athletes and past Grand Prix winners.
