Duration: 2 Days ( We recommend 3 days at least for this trip)

Transport: Own Vehicle is recommended and we used Bikes.

Best Time to visit: All Season accessible just avoid the rainy season(july and august). December to February become too cold due to snowfall.

Day1

We started our journey on friday late night and reached Dehradun on Saturday morning, there we join our friend. It was a tiring ride so we took a small nap at our friend’s home. After a short break we headed towards kanatal via Dehradun – Mussoorie road and reached to our first destination “Bhatta Falls” where we enjoyed the natural waterfall and some snacks with tea at nearby shacks.

After our excitement got over we again hit the road to reach kanatal. This time we use the Mussoorie – Chamba Road which is very good except few patches but here We are talking about the twist and turns. As a biker you will love to ride on this route. After riding for about 50 odd kilometers we took our next stop that is eco-park in Dhanaulti, and this place is a small forest containing deodar trees. One will love the environment which is less crowded and peaceful. We have been there for an hour and left for kanatal which is not so far from Dhanaulti.

Now before reaching to kanatal one should visit the Surkanda Devi Temple which is the highest point of this region. We skipped it because one needs to go by foot for about half kilometers and we don’t have enough time for it. We reached kanatal before evening and did few adventure activities like zipline and sky walk. The Experience was amazing, we also visited their campsite but unfortunately we could not able to stay in that campsite because we already had a hotel booking chamba.

We found a very good place called ChaCha Sip and Dine just before chamba. During the sunset we came back to this restraunt and had a very good tea With the majestic view of mountain sunset. We recommend this place for delicious gadwali food.

Day 2

We started the day very early in the morning so that we can watch the magnificent sunrise of chamba. We left our Hotel at around 8 am and the ride was going beautifully good but after few kilometer’s the road’s were in very bad condition due to its under construction. It took more than 3 hours to complete the 60 km stretch of under construction work.

We reached Rishikesh at around 12 o’Clock and after a tiring ride all we can do is to take a dip in the Ganga. This dip helped us to give our body a good amount of rest and freshness. Now we were very hungry so we decided to go to the famous Chowtiwala restaurant to energies our body.

Neer Garh Waterfall is a must visit place if you have time in Rishikesh. This small natural waterfall is covered under a dense forest. The waterfall is in multiple steps and you can have some maggie and snacks near the waterfall. The pond’s created in these waterfalls are almost 4 to 5 feet depth so you can enjoy a bit of swimming also. After it we are close to our time line and we left for delhi.
