January 4, 2023 0 By chalchaleinindia

One of India’s oldest planned cities is Jaipur. The Amer ruler Jai Singh is the name of the city. The Indian state of Rajasthan is centered on Jaipur. Because pink is the predominant hue in most of the buildings, it is known as the Pink City. The city is almost 260 kilometers away from India’s capital, Delhi. One of the most visited places in India for tourists is Jaipur. The majority of foreign visitors to India each year go to Jaipur.

The well-known Golden Triangle circuit, which also encompasses Delhi and Agra, includes Jaipur. Jantar Mantar and Amer Fort were included to the list of World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Other well-known tourist locations like Udaipur, Kota, Mount Abu, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, etc. have Jaipur as their foundation.

BEST TIME TO VISIT

The best time to travel to Jaipur and other regions of Rajasthan is during the winter months (November to March), when daytime highs of 32 degrees Celsius and nighttime lows of 8 degrees Celsius are common. It’s incredibly hot in the summer, so sightseeing isn’t particularly enjoyable. The monsoon season isn’t the best time to go because it’s very hot and muggy. Because of the Kite Festival and the Jaipur Literature Festival, which take place around this time, January is a great month to visit Jaipur. The Elephant festival is held in Jaipur sometime in March, a day before Holi.
