In various areas of Himachal Pradesh, an orange alert warning of heavy rain has been issued today. In Shimla, the capital, the weather is still awful. In the city and its environs, there was sporadic rain in the morning. The Meteorological Center Shimla reports that from July 24 to 27, there is a yellow alert in effect for heavy rain in various areas of the state. It is anticipated that the state’s rainy season would last until July 29.

Kangra reported 151.8 mm of rain last night, Dharamshala 136.6 mm, Palampur 112.4 mm, Nagrota Suriyan 99.6 mm, Dhaula Kuan 82.5 mm, Jogindernagar 52.0 mm, Guler 46.4 mm, Sundernagar 44.7 mm, Ghamrur 35.2 mm, and Kahu recorded 33.5 mm of rain.

IMD Hydromet Division New Delhi has released the state’s National Flash Flood Guidance Bulletin. This indicates that during the next 24 hours, there may be a light to moderate danger of flooding in various catchment areas and nearby areas of the Himachal Pradesh districts of Kangra, Sirmaur, and Shimla.
In several parts of the state, there may be moderate rainfall in the coming day or two, according to the Meteorological Department. There’s a chance of one or two spots seeing heavy to extremely heavy rain.
