Himachal Pradesh issues a four-day yellow notice on June 28–29, indicating a high risk of rain.
June 25, 2024Himachal Pradesh has been placed under a yellow warning for the next four days. Most of the state has been warned to expect heavy rain on June 28 and 29. The plain areas of Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, and Kangra from Thursday to July 1 are expected to have bad weather, as are the central and high mountainous regions of Kinnaur, Lahaul-Spiti, Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu, and Chamba starting on Wednesday. Additionally, on June 28 and 29, there is a chance of thunderstorms and severe rain. It is possible for the monsoon to arrive in the state during this time.
On Tuesday, there was rain throughout a lot of the Hamirpur district. In the plain districts, the maximum temperature rises as a result of the sunshine. Una recorded a maximum temperature of 41.4 degrees Celsius. The capital city of Shimla had hazy skies and sunshine. In other parts of the state, too, the weather remained inconsistent. Conversely, the lowest temperature on Monday night was 18.2 in Shimla, 19.3 in Sundernagar, 18.9 in Bhuntar, Kalpa 13.6, Dharamshala 22.4, Una 25.8, Nahan 24.4, Keylong 9.3, Solan 20.2, Manali 13.6, Kangra 24.0, 21.2 in Mandi, and 24.1 in Bilaspur.
